Silksong expands progression with a robust quest system called Wishes. These structured activities encourage exploration, combat mastery and interaction with Pharloom’s colourful cast.

Wishes and activities

Wishes come in several flavours:

  • Collection runs: Gather items scattered across a region. The first wish you’ll encounter is Berry Picking, in which the Moss Druid asks for three Mossberries located around Moss Grotto and Bone Bottom. Completing this wish rewards the Druid’s Eye tool.
  • Hunts: Track and defeat designated enemies using specific tools. A notable example is Broodfeast, initiated by the Huntress in the Putrified Ducts. You must collect seared, shredded and skewered organs using the Flintslate, Cogwork Wheel and Sting Shard respectively. Turning in the organs rewards the Longclaw tool, and if left unfinished by Act 3 the hunt changes to Runtfeast.
  • Grand hunts: Multi‑stage challenges often culminating in bespoke boss fights. These hunts test your mastery of both movement and combat and provide major rewards like crest slots or unique tools.
  • Deliveries: Route‑planning quests that ask you to ferry items or messages across Pharloom, encouraging efficient traversal and knowledge of Bellways.

Character‑driven side quests

Several NPCs have storylines that span multiple regions. For example, Sherma sings to open doors and moves from Bone Bottom through Far Fields to later areas, unlocking shortcuts as he goes. Garmond & Zaza assist in set‑piece battles and travel to the Moorwing arena. Grindle sells secrets and Snitch Picks after you free him. Trobbio challenges you on stage in the Whispering Vaults, with increasingly elaborate fights. These threads intertwine, and finishing one often unlocks options in another.

Rewards

Completing wishes rewards tool blueprints, crest expansions, consumables and large amounts of Rosaries. Some hunts unlock traversal abilities; for instance, defeating the Bell Beast grants access to the Bellway fast‑travel network. Grand hunts may reward unique tools or crest slots. Always read quest descriptions carefully to know which tools you need to bring.
