How to Get the Map in Silksong (Find Shakra & Buy Missed Maps)
Shakra sells every area map in Silksong, but she moves on as the story advances — and plenty of players reach Greymoor with a hole in their map where the Deep Docks should be. Here is the trick the game never explains: a bronze calling ring above Bone Bottom summons her back whenever you like, full catalogue included.

The short version
- 1Farm Rosaries until you have at least 50.
- 2Fast travel back to Bone Bottom.
- 3Walk to the far-right ledge and strike the calling ring twice.
- 4Buy any missed area map from Shakra for 50 Rosaries.
- 5After Bellhart, find her standing shop in Bellhart instead.

Step by step: get any map back
1Stock up on Rosaries
Shakra sells every area map for 50 Rosaries, and her accessories — the Quill (60) and the Compass (80) — cost more on top. If you first met her with empty pockets, that is exactly why the map never got bought.
Clear enemies along the bridges and break the hanging bead clusters before you go shopping; the burst on the Deep Docks lava bridge below is one of the fastest early pay-outs.

2Fast travel back to Bone Bottom
Shakra’s fallback shop is not hidden in some late-game zone — it sits in the very first village. Open any Bellway station (the three-arrow pillar icons) and ride back to Bone Bottom.
If you have not unlocked the Bellway network yet, walk back through Moss Grotto the way you came; the ledge you need is on the ground floor of the camp.

3Strike the calling ring at the far-right ledge
Inside Bone Bottom, cross the camp toward its far-right edge and hop up the small ledge past the last tent. There you’ll find a bronze calling ring on a pole — the game never tells you it does anything.
Strike it twice. Shakra rises onto the ledge beside you, greeting you with “So you found my calling ring.” Her shop opens with her full stock: every map you missed, plus the Quill and Compass if you still need them.

4Buy any map you missed
Her menu lists one sheet per region — the Deep Docks map shown below is the classic catch-up purchase at 50 Rosaries. Confirm the purchase and the area outline appears on your map immediately, even for regions where you never actually met her.
Buying a map does not reveal rooms; it unlocks the outline that your exploration fills in. Pair it with the Quill (60) so benches and secrets get inked in as you go.

5After Bellhart: use her standing shop in Bellhart
The Bone Bottom summon works for the whole early game, but once the story pushes you through Bellhart, Shakra relocates there. Her Bellhart shop is easy to miss: climb the platforms on the left side of town, then drop onto the hidden ledge where her scrolls are set up.
She keeps the same stock here, so any map you missed remains purchasable — you are never locked out for exploring “too fast”.

6Track her shops with the Vendor icons
Wherever Shakra is currently trading, the in-game map marks her with a Vendor icon — the same legend that marks Bellway stations and the Flea Caravan. Zoom out to spot which towns currently host a shop before you backtrack.
If a region shows no Vendor pin, that is your cue to use the calling ring in Bone Bottom instead.

Why areas end up unmapped
Shakra pitches her tent inside each new region as you reach it, but she only stays while the story is at that stage. Meet her, wander off to farm Rosaries, and by the time you return the tent is gone — even if you never technically “saw” her in that region, her spot moves on without you.

The map tracks her for you: wherever she is currently trading, a Vendor icon appears in the legend alongside Bellway stations and the Flea Caravan. And once a sheet is bought, the region outline fills in as you explore — the Deep Docks run below is what a freshly purchased map looks like in practice.

FAQ
▸Where is Shakra in Hollow Knight: Silksong?
Early on she pitches her tent inside each region — for example along the Deep Docks. Her two reliable spots are the far-right ledge above Bone Bottom (summoned by striking the calling ring twice) and, after the story reaches Bellhart, a hidden ledge inside Bellhart itself.
▸Why did Shakra leave before I could buy the map?
She moves on as the story progresses. If you met her, left to farm Rosaries, and came back to an empty tent, you pushed the story forward in between. She is not gone for good — the calling ring and the Bellhart shop both reopen her full stock.
▸How much do maps cost in Silksong?
Every area map costs 50 Rosaries. Shakra also sells the Quill for 60 (inks in benches and secrets) and the Compass for 80 (shows your position), so budget around 100–200 Rosaries if you want the full kit.
▸Can you buy maps you missed in Silksong?
Yes. Ring the calling ring at Bone Bottom’s far-right ledge or visit Shakra’s Bellhart shop; both open her complete catalogue, including sheets for regions you never saw her in.
▸What is the calling ring in Bone Bottom?
A bronze ring hanging on a pole at the far-right ledge of Bone Bottom camp. Strike it twice and Shakra appears with her shop. Her own dialogue — “So you found my calling ring” — confirms it is an intentional summon mechanic.
