Where is my Silksong save file located?
On Windows, Steam saves live in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight Silksong as user1.dat, user2.dat and so on. On macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight Silksong. On Linux via Steam Proton, look under steamapps/compatdata/1030300/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight Silksong.
Does the checklist sync between devices?
Cloud sync for signed-in players is planned. For now, use the Export button to download your progress as a versioned JSON file and import it on another device — the merge only adds checks, so importing can never un-tick items.
How do I find a checklist item's location on the map?
Every row has an 'Open on map' button. It opens the interactive map in a new tab pre-filtered to that item's category and region (for example /map?cat=mask-shard®ion=greymoor&act=1), so you can see the surrounding area while you hunt.
