Boss · #11 of 34
Widow
A hard story-required fight in Bellhart — fight #11 of 34 in our complete Silksong boss list.
The Widow rules Bellhart's enormous bell tower, and the whole arena rings with her. Her fight layers two threats at once: Bell Rain rains bells that bounce and shatter across the floor while she closes distance with furious arachnid swipes between volleys.
The reward makes her non-negotiable: defeating the Widow grants the Needolin, the story-critical instrument that unlocks Act 2 progression. Until she falls, the gates of the Citadel stay shut.

2Furious Swipes
Close-range arachnid swipes between bell volleys.
Strategy
Track bounce angles before re-engaging
Every falling bell bounces in a readable arc before it shatters. Spend the first phase of the fight doing nothing but watching trajectories — the safe lanes in this arena are learned, not fought for.
Juggle two layers of threat
Treat the fight as a juggling act: falling bells on one layer, her swipes on the other. Punish her close-range combos only during the gaps between bell volleys, and never stand still long enough for both layers to converge.
Heal behind geometry
Bell Rain punishes stationary healing. Only bind behind a pillar of bouncing steel or immediately after a full volley has shattered — otherwise the heal gets interrupted and the tempo swings hard.
Rewards
