Cogwork Dancers

moderateAct 2Story

A moderate story-required fight in Choral Chambers — fight #16 of 34 in our complete Silksong boss list.

The Cogwork Dancers guard the upper Choral Chambers — a pair of mechanical waltzers whose crossing lunges and spinning gear attacks choreograph the whole arena floor. They stand between you and the Architect's Melody, so the fight is a hard requirement on the Act 2 climb.

The secret is that you are not fighting two bosses. You are fighting one rhythm performed by two bodies.

Key attacks

1Waltzing Cross

A pair of mechanical waltzers coordinating crossing lunges.

2Gear Spin

Spinning gear attacks that control the arena floor.

Strategy

Split their rhythm

Fighting both in sync is the fight's real boss. Bait one dancer's lunge while the other recovers and their waltz falls apart into two manageable solo routines.

Punish individual recoveries

Each dancer recovers alone. Punish the one whose recovery you can reach safely instead of splitting damage evenly — dropping one dancer first halves every future phase of the fight.

Control the floor

Gear Spin controls the arena floor. Keep to the lanes it opens rather than dodging through the spin — the fight punishes improvisation far harder than it punishes patience.
